Hadiqa Kiani is not only a Pakistani pop singer but also a song-writer, model and now she is busy in doing some Social work too! Hadiqa kiani is considered as the best female pop singer in Pakistan. She was the first woman after Nazia Hassan to step into Pakistani music industry.

Hadiqa kiani was born in Rawalpindi on 11 august 1974. She received her early education from “Viqar-un-Nisa Noon Girls High School Rawalpindi”. She was in her 8th grade when her family moved to Lahore so later she went to “Kinnaird College for Women” (a semi government college in Lahore). She has done masters in psychology.

Hadiqa kiani’s singing career began in 1995 when her debut album Raaz was released. She recorded her first album in Karachi Studios. She wrote and composed most of this album.  This album went quite successful.  It was appreciated by most of the people and was mostly given positive reviews.

Hadiqa kiani’s second album “Roshni” came out in 1998. Her second album was even more successful than the first labum “Raaz”. Some of the popular songs from this album are: “intea-e-shouq”, “Rooshni”, “boohye barian”,  and “tu nawa tu sada”.

Hadiqa Kiani’s third album “Rung” came out in September 2002. Her fourth album “rough cut” was release in 2007. While her 5th album “aasman” came out just after two years (in 2009).

Other then the five albums Hadiqa Kiani has also sung a Pushto song with Irfan Khan called “jannan”. This song was a huge hit in the year 2009. After the success of this track, Hadiqa Kiani has recently released anther track with Irfan Khan called “nishta”.

In the year 2009 Hadiqa Kiani joined two reality TV shows as a judge called “Pakistan Idol” and “Aawaz Banae Star”.

    Currently Hadiqa Kiani is working on her sixth album which hopefully will release in summer 2011.
